For years, if you wanted to be at the epicenter of independent culture, creative energy, and raw streetwear style in Greater Manchester, you went to the Northern Quarter (NQ). It was the place to be.

We loved it there. But over the last few years, something shifted. The grit and soul that made the NQ special started getting priced out by corporate landlords, turning a neighborhood of passionate independents into a playground for high-rent franchises. It started feeling less like a community and more like a revolving door of transactions.

So, we packed up our chairs, grabbed our clippers, and headed south to Stockport.
